This does not effect gameplay at all.

This add-on introduces a slight chance (4%) that any human unit will emit a Wilhelm scream upon a “soft death.” The Wilhelm scream is an iconic sound effect used in many films and TV shows, typically when a character is shot, falls from a great height, or is thrown from an explosion1. This adds a fun and unexpected element to your gameplay.

remember that as an add-on the sound only happens for you and even if they have the same add-on it may trigger the effects at a different time for them.
