The Tain

These detail textures are very bright and colorful, I especially like them for their detail and their general quality. In particular, they seem to add a cartoonish flavor to the whole game. However, they are on the other hand really, really repetitive. This immediately shows on large open spots with the same texture all over it, where one can clearly see the patterns. Also, nearly all of the maps except for the regular multiplayer maps have been textured very roughly and still need some work: There are textures missing or placed wrong. To sum it up, I would like to come back to this texture pack when it has been improved a bit and for now stick with more refined ones.

These are very good. If I had one critique it would be that some are a little too exaggerated and overbearing. I won't critique the incomplete textures, as you do say this is a beta. I look forward to the next version and the next round of improvements.

Provides a key element for bringing Myth into the modern era. Add in hi-res units and it looks like something that could hit the shelves today!
