A-Red has done it! He has found the secret sauce that makes for amazing coop/single-play. I don't even know how to describe it entirely; these maps have what makes myth maps so much fun. All three levels are a blast to play, while at the same time being rather difficult, though never annoying or overly frustrating. The meshes offer variety in gameplay that is all wrapped up in a very well crafted story (If you only have played coop, load it up on single player so you can read the journal entries, it is well worth it). The entirety of the plugin is well made, looks classy, and has a near professional air to it (well, as much as a myth plugin can have anyway).

There are only two things that could make it better: Voice acting (that can be tricky, since if its not done perfectly, it seems lame, not to mention its a lot of trouble for an aesthetic touch, but it's my review, I'll ask for what I want) and more levels (not that it was too short, it worked very very well as three, but hey, more is always neat).

Verdict: Get this now. Then add it to your "must have" coop list.

This is a fun plugin. 3 maps. 3 distinct types of gameplay.

The first map puts you defending your fort while attacking the enemies fort. I think for cooperative play the defensive role is a little boring because the attacks are too weak. However for single player there is just enough to keep you on your toes but not so much that you can't be offensive. The offensive task is very fun. There are multiple routes to the other fort giving you the opportunity to play the game differently almost every time.

The second map is a search and destroy mission. Your task is to kill a shade and his Dirigibles. Dirigibles are super wights. The beginning is fast paced. You are chased by regular ghasts and exploding ghasts. After destroying the first waves of ghasts you search the map for the shade. The map has a constant flow of wights attacking you. Most of the time they are easy pickings with your archers, but every once in a while ghols or souless will keep you busy and they will sneak in. I would say this map is the worst of the three for multi-player. Since you get so few units, and the berzerks are useless most of the game (wights and ghasts are hard on berzerks). Very fun solo however.

The third and final map is all defense. The thing that sets this apart from your typical defensive map is you have to control 3 armies to protect 3 fords along the Toven river. I found it very challenging. I think it makes the best map for a large cooperative group. You can subdivide the 3 armies between all the players and each have your own little war. There is also a Dwarven Pathfinder and Berzerk reinforcements that act as a nice mobile task force. they can be moved between the three armies to reinforce as needed.

I think this is a great plugin. I recommend it for solo as well as cooperative play. I plan on playing much more of it online. I think it could be a tad better if it had speech and music with the pregame text, but since most people play online you wont even notice.

Great job on another great plugin A-Red.

This plugin is a must have. Every level has a unique fighting style, and they are all fun. Beware, this camaign is very hard. The real fun of the first level is the process of attacking the enemy fortress, but defending your fort at the same time is a nice touch.

The second level is more of a heart pounding mad rush to keep a safe distance from your enemys. The constant flood of wights makes the level have a feeling of despiration.
The final level is a crushing attack on three fronts with the option of limiting the attack to just one. The final level is one of the best coop maps that I have ever seen. I just hope that people start hosting on it.
I agree with the preveous two reviews that it would be nice if the campaign was longer, but it is long enough as is. All in all this plugin is definately worth a download.

Very good 3 levels long campaign. Nice storyline and sweet gameplay - Legendary difficulty level will be worthy chalange even for battle-hardened co-op teams. Ah and TFL (tho hi-res) warriors. They divide families and nations ;) Some love em, some hate em. I always said "arghhhh", "arghhhh" and "aaaaaargh" when seein em, tho after playing PH:TCoG I have staretd to like em a bit more. Anyway, its a must-have plugin and solid 5 stars :)

Very nice set of solos here. I would have to say the first map is my favorite (killing those trow was a trick and a half!), though they all test the dexterity of the solo myth player- challenging you to monitor more than one priorities on the battlefield.

I would agree that these would make great coops- Especially the third level, my battle plan sort of fell apart when i was multitasking myrmidon/fetch waves, but still way fun nonetheless.

This plugin is a great addition to play in any coop online. My favourite being the Map Bloat, getting thrown into the thick of it and having to carve your way to the shade.

The first map is really fun and amusing with the Michelin Tire Mascot looking Balloons coming towards you. Its hard not to laugh at them being so pink and exploding. The first map also tends to get a bit repetitive with the consistent waves attacking you.

The last map is very similar to across the gjol but with a lot more darker enemies and less terrain available to take advantage of. Good fun but you require 3 player minimum for this map as you need to cover 3 different attack points which is far too difficult to do with 1 person.
