Announcement! :: Electric Sheep m2

Happy 7/7/7. Electric Sheep is a Total Conversion whose aim is to bring the Marathon universe to Myth II. We had hoped and planned for the latest months to have the whole release of Electric Sheep online today, everything finished and well-tested and polished, but different tasks eventually got high...

That would work, but these projectiles still don't explode when they touch a monster (just bounce off him).

Myth II: Different Projectile Behaviour?

I have successfully created a projectile that doesn't explode as soon as it touches the ground by reducing it's Normal Detonation Frequency to 0.000. I have also set its Elastic Coefficient to 0.950, so that it will retain most of its speed when it bounces off something. I was wondering what I shoul...

Ok.

Still referring to the example above: do I really need 4 different Hue Changes? As far as I know, the original Bungie collections never have more than 2 or 3. :?

Sure, it appears to be selected by default. :? ... ... ... I have done other tests, and it appears to work as long as the Start Hue and the End Hue values are not the same. I find this weird. A few more questions. :) Is there any Amber documentation around? Do you have any tips regarding alignment i...

Amber: Color Tables & Hue Changes

I am working on my first *major* Myth II project, and I need some help. Look at the following color tables: http://sixtyfive.xmghosting.com/images/colortable.png The collection I am creating right now contains bitmaps indexed using the first color table. I have to create variants of that monster tha...

Myth II: Importing Sounds

Fear 1.5 Documentation states I need 16-bit, 22 kHz AIFF sounds, but doesn't mention a number of other things I need to know:

Encoding: PCM, µ-Law, IMA, A-Law, MACE-3 or MACE-6?
Sampling Rate: 22050 Hz or 22254 Hz?

Thanks. :)

That's a 128x128 image. I'm going to improve it, but I can tell you that it doesn't get pixelated at 32x32, 48x48 or 64x64.
Still look way too much like documents.

There isn't much I can do about that.
