Writable discs have a maximum 5 year life, more often 2 years. Do not rely on them, they are worse than floppy disks for corruptability.

I recommend you keep on trying your disc in different drives, as you may eventually find one that's able to read it despite its deterioration.

I don't think anybody uses the mute feature anyway so it is a moot point. One thing I would like to be changed for the next Myth II release would be to have a 0.5 second delay between when shift is pressed while in the lobby and when the "New" game button changes to "Autohost". ...

Did you play on the TFL demo? I don't think they let you hex your name on Bnet (except to make it 1 or 2 characters longer).

When it comes up with "mode not supported", press the controls on the LCD and see what Hz speed the signal is at. If the video card is feeding the LCD with 90Hz for example, it won't cope with that. I assume you've got analogue instead of DVI to the monitor?

Some people on PM.net were having the red-game problem, I think it'd be a good idea to have a note on the 1.5.1 story on the website about removing the ancient plugins.

I just dled 1.5.1c (just got my brand spanking new cpu), and all the 1.5.1 games are showing up red for me. I don't think the first build of 1.5.1 is compatable with the 1.5.1c build. Guys, I think the same thing is happening to me too Edit: Ok, I'm not sure what's going on. I tried 1.5.1, 1.5.1b &...

Ah, I think this might've been related to the addition of two new rooms, which didn't display until after I'd swapped between servers.
